Resumo: Objectives: To describe nursing care challenges for pregnant women in the prison system and to identify legislation relevant to the right to health of pregnant women deprived of liberty. Methodology: This is an Integrative Literature Review, searching LILACS, SciELO and BDENF databases, in the modality integrated with the VHL Regional Portal, using the respective descriptors: Nursing; Pregnancy; Prisons; Health. Results: A total of 13 articles were included in this study, which pointed out a major deficit in health care for pregnant women due to intrinsic factors in the prison system. Final considerations: The nurse is entirely connected to prenatal care, in the prisons his duties become limited due to the precarious situation that prisons are in, going against what is predicted.
