Resumo: This article aims to analyze the publications of the Brazilian Journal of Public Policy during the period 2020-2021, focusing on the addressed public problems. It maps the main public issues or research problems discussed in this journal and investigates whether they emerged as a consequence of the global health crisis or if they are persistent problems that worsened or gained prominence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the study's restricted timeframe of two (2) years, it offers a comprehensive view of scientific production in public policies, enabling the generation of data to support decision-making in public management.

Despite the study's restricted timeframe of two (2) years, it offers a comprehensive view of scientific production in public policies, enabling the generation of data to support decision-making in public management.Este artigo objetiva analisar as publicações da Revista Brasileira de Políticas Públicas no período de 2020-2021, com foco nos problemas públicos abordados, mapeando os principais problemas públicos ou problemas de pesquisa discutidos nesse periódico e investigando-os se surgiram como consequência da grande crise de saúde mundial ou se são problemas permanentes e tiveram seu agravamento ou evidência devido à pandemia do COVID-19.
