Training in first aid for education professionals based on the “Lucas Law”: experience report

Resumo: Introduction: First aid is that immediate care directed to the victim until the arrival of specialized care, but the lack of knowledge about the initial care is capable of causing adversities related to the worsening of the situation. And the school environment, as it is a place where children spend most of the day, becomes a plausible place for several accidents and incidents to happen. Therefore, the best way to prevent and provide first aid effectively is by disseminating educational actions and training in first aid. Objective: To carry out an experience report about training carried out in first aid for educators based on the Lucas law. Materials and methods: This is an experience report lived by two nursing students, focused on carrying out training in First Aid in three municipalities in the State of Alagoas. The course lasted four days, with the first day dedicated to an inaugural class, the course was given in the morning and afternoon periods, and had a workload of 28 hours. Results and discussion: Based on the training carried out, it was possible to identify that the participants, for the most part, did not have sufficient knowledge about first aid, but demonstrated that they learned the information passed during the training. Therefore, they were highly participatory during the meetings, either to answer questions or to expose their knowledge. Final considerations: In the meantime, in view of the issues addressed during the training meetings, there was a contribution to a better knowledge of professionals about first aid.

E o ambiente escolar, por ser um local onde as crianças passam a maior parte do dia, se torna um local plausível de acontecer vários acidentes e incidentes. Sendo assim, a melhor forma de prevenir e prestar o primeiro atendimento de forma eficaz é disseminando ações educativas e capacitações em primeiros socorros. Objetivo: Realizar um relato de experiência acerca de capacitações realizadas em primeiros socorros para educadores baseada na lei Lucas. Materiais e métodos: Trata-se de um relato de experiência vivenciado por duas acadêmicas de enfermagem, voltado para a realização de capacitações em Primeiros Socorros em três municípios do Estado de Alagoas. O curso possuiu a duração de quatro dias, sendo o primeiro dia voltado para uma aula inaugural, o curso foi ministrado nos períodos manhã e tarde, e possuiu uma carga horária de 28 horas. Resultados e discussão: A partir das capacitações realizadas foi possível identificar que os participantes, em sua maioria, não possuíam conhecimentos suficientes sobre primeiros socorros, mas demonstraram que aprenderam as informações passadas durante as capacitações. Assim, mostraram-se altamente participativos durante os encontros, fosse para tirar dúvidas ou para expor os seus conhecimentos.
