ADHERENCE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO THE HAND HYGIENIZATION PRACTICE IN A HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENT: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

Resumo: Objective: Analyze the percentage of adherence as for hands hygiene of the professionals who provide direct assistance to hospitalized patients through a literature review, and identify the factors who interfere for the technique realization and performance strategies in order to increase. Methodology: It's about a integrative review with descriptive analysis developed through scientific publications preferably, in the period of 2013 to 2020, utilizing to data surveys articles unavailable in full in the portal database of the Virtual Health Library (VHL); BDENF, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) an Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). Results: 12 articles were reviewed, and grouped by didactic similarity in the proposal thematic category in order to get set of hypotheses and conclusions of the researches chosen, the results will be discussed from two categories created "Healthcare-related Infections" and " Health Professionals' Adherence to Hand Hygiene". Conclusion: From the realized studies in view of the objectives proposed in the study, it turns out that, in general, there is low adhesion to hands sanitization for the health professionals compared to the degree of technicals knowledge about the subject, in which the theory don't apply in the practice of the provided assistence, the measures to be adopted are directed to encouraging membership to the hands sanitization, in the sense of generating changes in the health professionals behavior, as well as adjust the resources to contemplate the practice of hands sanitization.

Objetivo: Analisar o percentual de adesão quanto à higienização das mãos dos profissionais que prestam a assistência direta aos pacientes hospitalizados por meio de uma revisão de literatura, e identificar os fatores que interferem para realização da técnica e estratégias de atuação de forma a aumentar a mesma. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com análise descritiva desenvolvida através de publicações cientificas preferencialmente, no período de 2013 a 2020, utilizando para levantamento dos dados artigos disponíveis na íntegra na base de dados do portal da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS); BDENF, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). Resultados: Revisaram-se 12 artigos, e agrupados por semelhança didática na categoria temática proposta, a fim de obter um conjunto de hipóteses e conclusões das pesquisas escolhidas, os resultados serão discutidos a partir de duas categorias criadas: “Infecções Relacionadas à Assistência à Saúde” e “Adesão dos Profissionais de Saúde sobre a Higienização das Mãos”.
