Creation of educational material as a guide to promote health to Hiperdia program users

Resumo: Introduction: The most prevalent Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) are Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) and Diabetes Mellitus (DM), which have similar values and are often associated. One of the biggest difficulties that Basic Health Units encounter is the lack of adherence by users to the HIPERDIA program and their absence from periodic consultations. Objective: Dissemination of an educational manual that adds to HIPERDIA, being a health promotion tool in order to improve the quality of life of hypertensive and diabetic patients. Methodology: This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, of the experience report type, describing the steps involved by nursing students, authors and builders of the didactic resource: “MANUAL HIPERDIA”, in which important instructive steps were established to be followed. followed as a form of organization for the preparation of the material. Results and Discussion: The production of the educational manual took place after the theme was defined and was constructed sequentially in three stages: in the first, a bibliographical survey of the content to be addressed was carried out, in the second, the title was chosen, and in the third step was the assembly of the manual. Final considerations: The manual is relevant and shows itself as new teaching material in health education activities, with the aim of motivating the user with a chronic disease and developing health practices in a simple, fast and effective way in controlling of hypertension and diabetes.

Uma das maiores dificuldades que as Unidades Básicas de Saúde encontram é a falta de adesão dos usuários ao programa de HIPERDIA e a ausência dos mesmos nas consultas periódicas. Objetivo: Fomento de um manual educativo que agregue ao HIPERDIA, sendo uma ferramenta da promoção de saúde a fim de melhorar a qualidade de vida dos hipertensos e diabéticos. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo relato de experiência, descrevendo as etapas envolvidas por acadêmicas de enfermagem, autoras e construtoras do recurso didático: “MANUAL DE HIPERDIA”, no qual se estabeleceu importantes etapas instrutivas a serem seguidas como forma de organização para a elaboração do material. Resultados e Discussão: O recurso educativo aborda os aspectos da Hipertensão Arterial e do Diabetes Mellitus a fim de orientar os usuários sobre como conviver de forma saudável com essas condições crônicas, apresentando de forma lúdica, acessível e descomplicada para o público-alvo.
