Resumo: The present study addresses the difficulties that distance learning students face during their academic training, for which the main objective is to trace the state of the difficulties encountered by distance learning students in the teaching and learning process, since the specific objectives are present the studies published in the scielo, capes and google school repositories about the difficulties of being a student in the EaD modality; in addition to analyzing the difficulties encountered by them in EaD; therefore, to achieve this aim, bibliographical research is used, in accordance with the PRISMA procedures, twelve studies were selected, which made it possible to reach some conclusions, such as, there are still few works on the theme addressed, there is a large evasion of courses, difficulties in handling platforms, among others
