Resumo: This essay refers to the analysis of a public policy of civil identification of citizens executed in the Republic of Peru by the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status - RENIEC, with the focus on the population of the Huancavelica region. The study will put into perspective the analysis of the action of RENIEC in Huancavelica under theaspects of application of scientific concepts applied to the analysis of public policies and the notion of citizenship.
