Resumo: Toe evaluation of Clinicai Psychology training supervisors was the aim of this study. Toe training and experience, self rulcs, norms, objectives and thcorical bases wcre idcntificd to claborate thc profile of braziliam supervisors. Toe instrument used were the Questionnarie for Supervisors with 22 open questions about supervisors' aspects. Toe subjects weredivided in two groups accordingto the theorical approach used: Cognitive-Behavioral (N=6) and Psycudinamic (N=12). Toe results ofthe subjective evaluation revaled a stylc of supcrvision bascd in psychotcrapy approaches without systcmatic planning and total Jack of knowledge about the science of supervision. Subjects showed difference in relation to rules of supervision proccss and cvaluation of supcrvisccs. Toe data indicatcd thc modcls of supervision uscd werc outdated, based in psychothcrapy theories and individual supcrvisor's experience.

Seu treinamento, experiências, papéis, normas, objetivos e bases teóricas utilizadas foram identifi­ cados com o fim de elaborar um perfil dos supervisores brasileiros. O instrumento utilizado foi um questionário para supervisores contendo 22 questões abertas, versando sobre aspectos do supervisor. Os sujeitos foram divididos em dois grupos de acordo com sua linha teórica: Comportamental-Cognitiva (N-6) e Psicodinâmica (N=l2). Os resultados sugerem um profissional totalmente despreparado, com um modelo de supervisão baseado em teorias psicoterápicas e em sua própria experiência, sem a execução de um planejamento sistemático da supervisão e total desconhecimento da ciência da supervisão.
