Resumo: Toe Study had for the principal goal to evaluate the possible influence of relationship between teacher and student on the content ofthe subjects in the choose donc for studcnt from one determined psychotherapeutic approach. Were subjeets, 50 students(1Omen and 40 woman) who werestudying the lastyear of psychology graduation from fourdifferents Universities. Ali ofthesubjectswerecasual determined. As instrument, wcre utilised one questionnaire with 25 open and close questions, boarded aspects from relationship teacher­ student. One inventory likc Likertto cvaluate thc subjects attitude in relation between their teachers and their psychotherapeuticapproach. Thc procceding constituted ofthe individual application from instrumentto the subjects. Thc rcsults showed the subjects attribute one theorical and unbalanced formation with one strong tendency to psychoanalysis with few emphasis of cognitive-behavioural approach.Toe relationship between teacher-studcnt looks likc to be the central element from the choose oftheoneapproach, becausethe subjects showed onc bcttcr relationship with teachers in the discipline from own theorica) approach as how with teachers from anothers theorical approaches. The main advantage of cognitive-behavioral approach is your efficacy and scientific value. About the psychoanalytic approach is more associated to factors of personal security, as been know for the society and to enable the effort with unconscious. The results are partia! in agreement with the literature.

The results are partia! in agreement with the literature.Este estudo teve como principal objetivo avaliar a possível influência da relação professor-aluno na escolha dos sujeitos por uma determinada abordagem psicoterápica. Foram sujeitos 50 alunos (10 homens e 40 mulheres) que estavam cursando o último ano da graduação em Psicologia em quatro Universidades diferentes. Todos os sujeitos foram determinados casualmente. Como instrumento, foram utilizados um questionário com 25 perguntas abertas e fechadas, abordando aspectos da relação professor-aluno. Uma escala tipo Likert foi também utilizada para avaliar a atitude dos sujeitos em relação a seus professores e seu enfoque psicoterápico. O procedimento foi constituído pelaaplicação individual do instrumento aos sujeitos. Os resultados demonstraram que os sujeitos atribuíram uma formação teórica e técnica desbalanceada,com forteênfase à psicanálise c com pouca tendência à abordagem comportamental-cognitiva.O relacionamento entre professor-alunofoi o elemento central na escolha da abordagem em razãode os sujeitos indicarem mais significativamente uma relação positiva com os docentes que ministram disciplinas de seus enfoques psicoterápicos do que em docentes de outras propostas. A principal vantagem da terapia comportamental­ cognitiva foi indicada quanto à sua eficácia e seu valor científico. Já a teoria psicanalítica foi mais associada a fatores de segurança pessoal, reconhecimentosocial e o trabalhocom o inconsciente.
