UNIVERSITY MOTHERS: DIFFICULTIES DURING GRADUATION IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Resumo:  This work aims to analyze the perception of the mothers-university of the course of Physical Education (PE) on the major challenges encountered by these academics, with regard to their training, through the understanding of motherhood and motherhood. An online questionnaire was applied, related to their difficulties associated with motherhood and graduation, to 12 (twelve) students of the PE course of a public university in northern Minas Gerais. It was possible to demonstrate that the mothers-university, participants of the research, have difficulties in organizing their triple journey, since they do not feel supported by the university and, in many cases, do not have a social network of support. We conclude that the need for the development of policies of permanence within the institution is urgent so that the mothers-university not only remain in the same, but complete their graduations and can still build expectations from it.

Foi aplicado um questionário on-line, relacionado às suas dificuldades associadas à maternidade e à graduação, para 12 (doze) acadêmicas do curso de EF de uma universidade pública no Norte de Minas Gerais. Foi possível demonstrar que as mães-universitárias, participantes da pesquisa, possuem dificuldades em organizar sua tripla jornada, visto que não se sentem amparadas pela universidade e, em muitos casos, não possuem uma rede social de apoio.
