Resumo: This paper has two goals. The first one is to present Mittell’s approach which, through of six facets interdependent model, to intend to deal of complexity of television, and the second one is to explore one of these facets– the television’s dimension as textual form – and to evince, through of stylistics analysis, their relevance to the TV as a cultural practice. The conclusion is that investigate the properties of television style may prove useful to the understanding of the profound transformations which ones the device pass today.

El primero es el de presentar el enfoque de Mittell que, a través del modelo de las seis facetas interdependientes, pretende tratar la complejidad de la televisión, y el segundo es el de explotar una de estas facetas – la dimensión de la televisión como forma textual – y evidenciar, por medio del análisis estilístico, su pertinencia para la televisión como práctica cultural. La conclusión es que investigar las propiedades del estilo televisivo puede resultar útil al entendimiento de las profundas transformaciones por las que el dispositivo viene pasando en la actualidad.Este artigo tem dois objetivos. O primeiro é o de apresentar a abordagem de Mittell que, através do modelo das seis facetas interdependentes, pretende tratar da complexidade da televisão, e o segundo é o de explorar uma destas facetas – a dimensão da televisão enquanto forma textual – e evidenciar, por meio da análise estilística, sua pertinência para a TV enquanto prática cultural.
