This article aims to point out perspectives to understand how fictional Japanese artist Souzousareta Geijutsuka came to life in two major newspapers from Fortaleza (CE). It begins with a discussion about the role of release in the current journalistic routines. He examines the language and structure of this release in order to uncover the elements that contributed to an invention to be read as truth by journalists that received and published the information with highlight in culture section. From this focus, it wants to understand the cultural codes of journalism and the roles played by different actors that contribute to legitimating processes of senses in contemporary art. The work is concerned, in theoretical terms, to the reflections of Pierre Bourdieu about the structure and functioning of the artistic area, author who also inspired Yuri Firmeza in his initiative.
