Resumo: | The television series have now become a central aspect of our daily life both in the medium through which they are spread, and in the messages they express. The sociology of communication, imagination and daily life suggest that serial experience is the preferred way in which contemporary culture affirms and takes shape. The research presented here constitutes an ethnographic analysis of serial consumption which aims to identify the links between this practice and daily life. |

La sociología de la comunicación, la imaginación y la vida cotidiana sugieren que la experiencia en serie es la forma preferida en que la cultura contemporánea afirma y toma forma. La investigación presentada aquí constituye un análisis etnográfico del consumo en serie que tiene como objetivo identificar los vínculos entre esta práctica y la vida cotidiana.As séries de televisão tornaram-se agora um aspecto central de nossa vida cotidiana, tanto no meio pelo qual se espalham quanto nas mensagens que expressam. A sociologia da comunicação, imaginação e vida cotidiana sugere que a experiência serial é a maneira preferida pela qual a cultura contemporânea afirma e toma forma.
