FILMIC WRITING THE HISTORICAL WORLD: THE “INDIGENOUS QUESTION” IN BRAZIL

Resumo: | The objective is to analyze how, in Serras da Desordem (2006) and in Martírio (2016), register and artifice constitute filmic writing that problematizes the historical world and, at the same time, the image. Our point of departure presuposses that the “indigenous question” sparked sensorial, cultural-historical and meaning making operations (Rancière, 2012) that transfigured documentary and fictional forms. How are the movies constituted as language; in the dialetic with the thematized reality; and constituting the historical world? Within the filmic analysis (Vanoye; Goliot-Lété, 1994), we interweave the cultural approach (Vargas, 1987; Quijano, 2005; Mignolo, 2017), and concepts such as oppression, resistance and the invention of the “other”. Between art and politics, rejecting a purely immanent analysis (Barthes, 1990), we found that, the filmic act and the political act coexist symbiotically in Tonacci and Carelli’s writing, which oscillates between the reproduction and production of the real and creates counter narratives that put the image and reality in crisis. |

Partimos de la suposición que la “cuestión indígena” generó operaciones sensoriales, histórico-culturales y de significación (Rancière, 2012) que transfiguró las formas documentarias y ficcionales. ¿Cómo las películas se constituyen mientras lenguaje; en la dialéctica con la realidad tematizada; y son constitutivos del mundo histórico? Al análisis fílmico (Vanoye; Goliot-Lété, 1994), intercalamos el abordaje cultural (Vargas, 1987; Quijano, 2005; Mignolo, 2017) y los conceptos de opresión, resistencia, y la invención del “otro”. Entre el arte y la política, al rechazarmos el análisis puro inmanente (Barthes, 1990), constatamos que, en simbiosis, el acto fílmico y el acto político coexisten en las escrituras de Tonacci y Carelli, que oscilan entre la reproducción y la producción de lo real y crean contranarrativas que ponen en crisis la imagen y la realidad.O objetivo é analisar como, em Serras da Desordem (2006) e em Martírio (2016), registro e artifício constituem escrituras fílmicas que problematizam o mundo histórico e, ao mesmo tempo, a imagem. Partimos do pressuposto que a “questão indígena” ensejou operações sensoriais, histórico-culturais e de significação (Rancière, 2012) que transfiguraram as formas documentárias e ficcionais. Como os filmes constituem-se enquanto linguagem; na dialética com o real tematizado; e são constitutivos do mundo histórico? Intercalamos à análise fílmica (Vanoye; Goliot-Lété, 1994), a abordagem cultural (Vargas, 1987; Quijano, 2005; Mignolo, 2017) e conceitos como opressão, resistência e a invenção do “outro”. Entre a arte e a política, ao recusarmos uma análise puramente imanente (Barthes, 1990), constatamos que o ato fílmico, em simbiose, coabita o ato político, que as escrituras de Tonacci e Carelli oscilam entre a reprodução e a produção do real e criam contranarrativas que colocam em crise a imagem e a realidade.
