Resumo: The contemporary transformations in the work relations and in the productive process of capital accumulation urge to think about alternatives for the workers who are outside the labor market. Therefore, the social incubators, usually implemented by universities have tried to direct their actions towards workers in situation of social vulnerability with the objective to develop entrepreneurships of work and income creation in the perspective of solidarity economy. Key-words – Social incubator. Solidary economy. Social responsibility.

Nesse sentido, as incubadoras sociais, geralmente implantadas por universidades, têm procurado voltar suas ações para trabalhadores em situação de vulnerabilidade social, com o objetivo de desenvolver empreendimentos de geração de trabalho e renda na perspectiva da economia solidária.
