Resumo: | The counter-reform of the state that constantly reaches social policies and everything that involves them, visibly affects Brazilian higher education, part of the education policy, postulating increasingly pragmatic and technical formations, so it is essential to analyze the means of evaluation adopted by the State and the intentions permeated in it. In this article there is a debate on the assessment conducted by the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE) for Social Work courses, taking as an example the Social Work courses in the state of Amazonas, considering the 6 ENADE tests for this course and the 47 reports from institutions that offer this course in the state of Amazonas and were subject to this examination. The article is the result of bibliographical and documentary research, of an explanatory nature, directed by the critical-dialectical method, with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative), with the adoption of document analysis and content analysis techniques for the treatment of data obtained by documents cited. Thus, it can be observed that the current assessment launched in higher education has the ability to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of training, but only from the student’s point of view, ignoring the other subjects who are involved in the training process, in addition to encouraging, by through the way it has been executed, with distorted calculations of grades and concepts, a “ranking” among higher education institutions, making them seek the achievement of “best grades”, but camouflaging the disparity between the performance of students, especially when comparing the performance between students of public and private Social Work courses. |

Professional training in Social Work and ENADE: Contradictions in questionFormação profissional em Serviço Social e ENADE: Contradições em questãoEvaluationProfessional trainingSocial WorkENADEAvaliaçãoFormação profissionalServiço SocialENADEThe counter-reform of the state that constantly reaches social policies and everything that involves them, visibly affects Brazilian higher education, part of the education policy, postulating increasingly pragmatic and technical formations, so it is essential to analyze the means of evaluation adopted by the State and the intentions permeated in it. Editora da PUCRS - ediPUCRS2021-12-21info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/fass/article/view/4120110.15448/1677-9509.2021.1.41201Textos & Contextos (Porto Alegre); Vol. 20 No. 1 (2021): Single Volume; e41201Textos & Contextos (Porto Alegre); v. 20 n. 1 (2021): Volume Único; e412011677-950910.15448/1677-9509.2021.1reponame:Textos & contextos (Porto Alegre)instname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS)instacron:PUC_RSporhttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/fass/article/view/41201/27276http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCosta, Tereza Raquel Negreiros do NascimentoAndrade, Roberta Ferreira Coelho de2024-04-19T12:45:48Zoai:ojs.revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br:article/41201Revistahttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/fassPUBhttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/fass/oaitextos@pucrs.br1677-95091677-9509opendoar:2024-04-19T12:45:48Textos & contextos (Porto Alegre) - Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS)false |
