The School Without Party as a proposal for empowering education

Resumo: Our society is composed of a series of ideological determinants that reveal, for the most part, a conservative character, seeking to direct the reflexive capacity of individuals for the legitimation of the interests of the ruling class. In Brazil, this direction has been introduced by Bill No. 867 of 2015 that establishes the program School without Party and by Bill No. 246 of 2019, which innovates by establishing as a right of the students the recording of the classrooms. Thus, to problematize the assumptions of this project, which also constitutes a movement, is the purpose of this article. For the purposes of elaborating counterpoints to this proposal of emptying education, we carried out a literature review based on critical social theory. In this way, we seek to highlight the incongruity of the Partyless School with the emancipatory and political essence of education.

No Brasil, este direcionamento vem sendo enveredado pelo Projeto de Lei n° 867 de 2015 que institui o programa Escola sem Partido e pelo Projeto de Lei nº 246 de 2019, o qual inova ao instituir como direito das(os) estudantes a gravação das aulas. Assim, problematizar os pressupostos deste projeto, que também se configura como um movimento, constitui o objetivo deste artigo. Para efeito de elaboração de contrapontos a esta proposta de esvaziamento da educação, realizamos uma revisão de literatura tendo como base a teoria social crítica.
