Resumo: | The relationship between real and virtual has been constituted as a fine line so that the internet and interactivity have become even more part of our daily lives. Considering the importance of the internet to comprehend the current society, we propose to discuss the necessity of approximation between digital media and the formation of professors in the academic universe. In this sense, to reflect on the approximation of this field of study with social media it is necessary to discuss the dynamics present in the current education and the demands that present to the training of History teachers, reviewing topics such as the initial education of History teachers, the digital media, and the internet in teacher education and the use of these media in teacher education. In the end, we highlight the potential of the use of memes and podcasts in the initial education of History teachers. For this, we highlight the proposals of the following authors: Cadena (2017), Caldeira Neto (2009), Führ (2019), Gadotti (2005), Lévy (2010), Lucchesi (2012, 2014), and Silva (2010). The method applied was bibliographical research, highlighting the initial education of History teachers, digital media, and the internet, from the indications of Prodanov and Freitas (2013) and Bardin (2016). The approximation of the field of education with digital media provides the critical and updated development of the teacher in training and, consequently, prepares them in a better way to use them in a basic education context. |
