Resumo: This essay has as its theme the challenge of education as a conversation in the time of the forgetfulness of the truth. Among the philosophical issues with a strong presence in education, the one that deals with truth is perhaps the most thought-provoking and challenging. Especially today, when the entry into the post-truth and post-phatic era is being announced, this question is indispensable for the comprehension and for the realization of the formative processes. The essay is organized in three moments: Initially, we will make some considerations about the problem of education in the post-truth and post-phatic era; then, we will deal with conversation from the Rorty’s philosophical perspective; Finally, we will address the possible relationship between education and conversation as a way of addressing the problem of truth and the notion of “redescription” as a broad way of understanding the truth.

Entre los problemas filosóficos con una fuerte presencia en la educación, el que trata con la verdad es quizás el más estimulante y desafiante. Especialmente hoy, cuando se anuncia la entrada en la era post-verdad y post-fática, esta pregunta es indispensable para la comprensión y para la realización de los procesos formativos. El ensayo está organizado en tres momentos: inicialmente, haremos algunas consideraciones sobre el problema de la educación en la era posterior a la verdad y posterior a los hechos; luego trataremos la conversación desde la perspectiva filosófica rortyana; Finalmente, abordaremos la posible relación entre educación y conversación como una forma de abordar el problema de la verdad y la noción de “redescripción” como una forma amplia de entender la verdad.O presente ensaio tem como tema o desafio da educação como conversação no tempo do esquecimento da verdade. Dentre as questões filosóficas com forte presença na educação, a que trata da verdade talvez seja a mais instigante e desafiadora. Especialmente hoje, quando se propala a entrada na era da pós-verdade e do pós-fático, essa questão revela-se imprescindível para a compreensão e para a realização dos processos formativos.
