Self-reflection processes on teaching practice in teh contexto of Higher Education

Resumo: | This article presents an integrative review that investigated what Brazilian research has shown about the self-reflection processes that Higher Education teachers perform about their practice. An analysis in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations found six papers that met the inclusion criteria listed initially. The study allows us to infer that teachers who conduct this type of research are motivated by issues related to their initial performance as a teacher of Higher Education, as well as their concerns as a student. It was also observed that some of the researchers changed their postures in the classroom context. It is concluded that there is a need for self-reflection by all professionals working in Higher Education as well as reflection on teaching practice at all levels of education. However, further studies are necessary for their results to be shared and disseminated. |

La Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones encontró seis documentos que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión enumerados inicialmente. El estudio nos permite inferir que los docentes que realizan esse tipo de investigación están motivados por cuestiones relacionadas con su desempeño inicial como docentes de educación superior, así como por sus preocupaciones como estudiantes. También se observa que algunos de los investigadores cambiaron sus posturas en el contexto del aula. Se concluye que existe la necesidad de autorreflexión de todos los profesionales que trabajan en la educación superior, así como la reflexión sobre la práctica docente en todos los niveles de la educación. Sin embargo, se necesitan más estudios para que sus resultados sean compartidos y difundidos.É apresentada neste artigo uma revisão integrativa que investigou o que as pesquisas brasileiras têm apontado sobre os processos de autorreflexão que os professores do ensino superior realizam sobre sua prática. Na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações foram encontrados seis trabalhos que atendiam aos critérios de inclusão elencados inicialmente. O estudo permite inferir que os professores que realizam esse tipo de pesquisa são motivados por questões relacionadas à sua atuação inicial como docente do ensino superior, bem como sobre suas inquietações enquanto estudante. Também se observa que alguns dos pesquisadores mudaram suas posturas no contexto de sala de aula. Chega-se à conclusão de que existe uma necessidade de autorreflexão por parte de todos os profissionais que atuam no ensino superior bem como de reflexão sobre a prática docente em todos os níveis de ensino.
