Resumo: This text concerns on na investigation of the various senses of the sacred words on cultural production of contemporary art and literature in Chile. By sacred words we mean the secret, deep and living relation of the people with their community and culture. Relation expressed by personal emotions and by conscious and unconscious beliefs. In this research, we have explored some of the meanings of this sacred senses powerfully expressed in Gabriela Mistral’s poetry and in visual performances of Angela Riesco. We have also observed the power of the meaning of strength kept by the community. She stands up and she gives music and songs to the forgotten and poor people. This process permits her artistic production to acquire a sacred sense as the foundation of the names of a community.

Este texto se refiere a una investigación de los distintos sentidos de las palabras sagradas sobre la producción cultural de arte contemporáneo y la literatura en Chile. Por palabras sagradas nos referimos a la relación secreta, profunda y de la vida de las personas con su comunidad y la cultura. Relación expresada por las emociones personales y por las creencias conscientes e inconscientes. En esta investigación, hemos explorado algunos de los significados de estos sagrados sentidos poderosamente expresados en la poesía de Gabriela Mistral y en representaciones visuales de Angela Riesco. También hemos observado el poder del significado de las canciones de Violeta Parra y la música como una clara litúrgica y un regalo ritual lleno de fuerza inconsciente mantenida por la comunidad. Ella se levanta y da música y canciones a los olvidados y pobres. Este proceso permite que su producción artística adquiera un sentido sagrado como el fundamento de los nombres de una comunidad.Trata-se de texto em uma investigação sobre os vários sentidos das palavras sagradas sobre a produção cultural de arte contemporânea e literatura no Chile. Por palavras sagradas entendemos a relação secreta, profunda e a vida do povo com sua comunidade e cultura. Relação expressada pelas emoções pessoais e por crenças conscientes e inconscientes. Nesta pesquisa, exploramos alguns dos significados destes sentidos sagrados poderosamente expressados na poesia de Gabriela Mistral e performances visuais de AngelaRiesco. Observamos, também, o poder do significado das canções Violeta Parra e música como uma litúrgica clara e um presente ritual cheio de força inconsciente mantido pela comunidade. Ela se levanta e dá música e canções para as pessoas esquecidas e pobres.
