Resumo: | The aim of the study was to understand what companies are looking for and how the recruitment and selection processes are perceived by young people. This was developed through a quali-quantitative approach, case study and questionnaire technique. As main results, the view of young people who believe they have not been hired due to lack of experience stand out and also highlight the absence of feedback after the recruitment and selection process. On the other hand, companies defend the need to seek and find young people for loads compatible with their age and, in addition, they defend having expectations about the interests of this public. |

Esto se desarrolló mediante un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo, un estudio de caso y una técnica de cuestionario. Como principales resultados, está la opinión de los jóvenes que creen que no han sido contratados por falta de experiencia, y también destacan la ausencia de retroalimentación luego del proceso de reclutamiento y selección. Por otro lado, las empresas defienden la necesidad de buscar y encontrar jóvenes para puestos compatibles con su edad y, además, defienden tener expectativas sobre los intereses de este público.O objetivo do estudo foi compreender o que as empresas buscam e como os processos de recrutamento e seleção são percebidos pelos jovens. Este desenvolveu-se por meio de abordagem quali-quantitativa, estudo de caso e técnica de questionário. Como principais resultados, destaca-se a visão dos jovens que acreditam não terem sido contratados devido à falta de experiência e, também, ressaltam a ausência de feedbacks após o processo de recrutamento e seleção.
