On the “Origins and Limits” of Language: The Mith of Babel and Parmenides’ Poem

Resumo: The intention of this article is to think the language. In doing so, we follow, as line of thought, two texts that are the basis of the theories of the language. One is Babel’s Myth and the other is the Poem of Parmenides. From these two essential works we will rethink what the language has been and what we can say today of the Language in the light of pointing out the radical impossibility of just saying something that is proper to be said of language.
