This is a literature review carried out from formal sources of information visits. Objective research and discuss the establishment of the causal concausal needed for accountability of the employer because of degenerative disease. The situation of the worker being victimized by degenerative disease has its report the evidence of more than one cause, one or more may be extralaboral. The study is justified by the increasing of the degenerative diseases as the increase in longevity of workers and the resulting demands on the Judiciary in search of a satisfativa response to damage to health and the ability of labor employed. The advancement of medicine and increasingly insurance reports allow receipt of reasonable and proportionate application concausa and participation of labour activity in the outbreak or worsening of the disease. Although it is an hereditary degenerative disease the employer must respond as anticipated or aggravated a situation that could require a lot of time, in addition to cause moral damage to the worker. Demonstrates how the doctrine and the jurisprudence and indicates the trend of evolution of the treatment to be given to the matter in relation to the causal concausal of degenerative diseases in the Brazilian legislation
