This literature research aimed to investigate the role of the educational manager as a mediator of conflicts, which can be observed in several social contexts, and present ways of solving them with a view to a more elaborate harmonic proposal that takes into account the feelings and points of view of others. Some practices, called restorative, provide procedures for proactive actions which can contribute to an improvement in the prevention and positive conflict resolution, contributing to the development of good relationships at the school environment. For the manager, will be investigated how is important to know to work with the several conflicts and with democratic actions, make it possible to carry out the mediation to improve the conditions of the relationship between employees and teachers , making it work with those who present themselves at risk. It was based on authors such as Michael Apple, Alvaro Chrispino, Heloisa Luck, Helena Albuquerque, among others, who brought significant contribution to the development of this research. Thus, this study aimed to examine how managers can manage interpersonal conflicts within the educational institution and as the methodological process of mediation can be perceived by the school staff, as well as raise awareness of the use of simple tools resources and deep the living relations, giving special emphasis to the development of important values such as respect for social responsibility and self-discipline
