The purpose of this research is to analyze both the admissibility judgment of civil appeals and their admissibility requirements. Faced with the nonconformity of an unfavorable court decision, the party may refute it, which is done through the process of appeal. In the appeal, the party defends rights and interests by questioning the form and the content of the decision. It is necessary to adhere to the conditions imposed by procedure legislation because only this way the case may be analyzed. Because of this, it is very important to meet all admissibility requirements, and, therefore, get a positive admissibility judgment. This study started at the analysis of the meaning of appeal, verified fundamental principles and only then analyzed the admissibility judgment and requirements, using doctrinal and precedent research, literature in books and articles, as well as confronting understandings about all the points addressed in the topic. The intention of this study was not to exhaust the topic, but to give the reader a broad view about it
