School education has always been a subject of great prominence to society, it happens that the school is considered as the main space forming citizens, needing thus suit your needs. Curricular reforms are created in order encompass the Brazilian diversity and respect it. To do so, describe a set of skills and abilities to be developed at school, which directly influences this process by adopting approaches. A support tools that integrates these approaches is the textbook, which often assumes the role of sole reference on what is taught. Thus, it is pertinent to investigate how knowledge is through him, organized, since this is one of the determining factors in learning. Therefore, the aim of this work is the analysis of two collections of mathematics textbooks, intended for 2nd year of high school and to investigate how to establish your organization around the theme Combinatory Analysis, seeking to identify the set of tasks, techniques, technologies and theories that underlie. This is a qualitative research study, the bibliographic type, whose results show that the authors of the textbooks selected propose problematized situations, but emphasize the application of specific procedures in its resolution, associating this content only to the applicability of formulas and techniques counting.
