Resumo: | Introduction - The slave system profoundly marked the formation of Brazilian society. In Brazil, the skin becomes a social operator of access or prohibitions, a determining legacy of impossibilities for blacks and whites, and the process of miscegenation was a fallacy to make blacks invisible and exclude the labor market. Objective – To examine how the heritage of slavery in the state of São Paulo contributes directly to the formation and conditions of the labor market in the twentieth century. Methods – The State of São Paulo was defined as a region to be observed. The spacetime was defined between 1850 and 1990, the important moments of economic transition and models of labor use. Results – The state of São Paulo is clearly the most advanced case of this transformation, and when one tries to recap São Paulo's experience of economic growth and development on a national scale, Sao Paulo's experience of race becomes even more important as a possible prognosis of things to come. Racist society admitted the black as a slave; brought to European free labor, alleged that blacks had no “mindset” to integrate with modern modes of production. Conclusion – The extremely efficient slave-black inheritance, in the shape of a black exclusion cycle, radiates and consolidates structures and hierarchies, which among its effects make it extremely difficult for blacks to arrive and remain in the command posts of the labor market |

Conclusion – The extremely efficient slave-black inheritance, in the shape of a black exclusion cycle, radiates and consolidates structures and hierarchies, which among its effects make it extremely difficult for blacks to arrive and remain in the command posts of the labor marketIntrodução - O sistema escravagista marcou profundamente a formação da sociedade brasileira. No Brasil a pele passa a ser um operador social de acesso ou proibições, um legado determinante de impossibilidades para negros e brancos, sendo que o processo de miscigenação foi uma falácia para invisibilizar e excluir os negros do mercado de trabalho. Objetivo - Examinar como a herança da escravidão no estado de São Paulo contribui diretamente na formação e nas condições do mercado de trabalho no século XX. Métodos – O Estado de São Paulo, foi definido como região a ser observada. O espaço tempo foi definido entre 1850 e 1990, dos importantes momentos de transição econômica e modelos de utilização da mão de obra. Resultados. O Estado de São Paulo é claramente o caso mais avançado dessa transformação, sendo que, quando se tenta recapitular a experiencia paulista de crescimento e desenvolvimento econômico em uma escala nacional, a experiência de São Paulo na questão racial torna-se ainda mais importante como um possível prognóstico das coisas que estão por vir. A sociedade racista admitia o negro como escravo; para o trabalho livre trouxe o europeu, alegado que os negros não tinham “mentalidade” para se integrarem aos modos de produção modernos. Conclusão - A herança escravocrata, no formato de um ciclo de exclusão do negro, extremamente eficiente, irradia e consolida estruturas e hierarquizações, as quais dentre seus efeitos tornam extremante difícil a chegada e permanência do negro nos postos de comando do mercado de trabalhoCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/51293/Raphael%20de%20Lima%20Vicente.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Ciências SociaisPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Ciências SociaisRacismoNegros - Emprego - BrasilMercado de trabalhoRacismBlacks - Employments - BrazilLabor marketCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADASO racismo e a sub-representação dos negros na alta liderança do mundo corporativo: 1850 a 1990info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTRaphael de Lima Vicente.pdf.txtRaphael de Lima Vicente.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain158961https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/22888/4/Raphael%20de%20Lima%20Vicente.pdf.txt96022cc70efbbdb7aefb8423b1574826MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
