The purpose of this work is put into discussing the possible relationship between mother tongue and foreign language. Since these terms are not transparent, the first step of this research is to define such concepts in the field of linguistics and psychoanalysis. I believe that from the treatment given to the subject in the field of psychoanalysis is possible to put in discussion the way he is treated within the Linguistics. Establish a dialogue between these two areas will go a reflection on what determines that a person exposed to early on more than one language is chosen for what will be called "mother tongue". It starts with the notion of subject is constituted through language in relation to the Other. The focus of reflection are possible forms of the subject's relation with the mother tongue and foreign language. Also included will be works that address the relationship between the child's speech and adult speech in the acquisition process, the passage of infans the speaker. It is understood that this trajectory the subjective structure of language and structure are mutually determined, as pointed out by Lemos (1992, 1995, 2000, 2002, among others). Objective of this project is to research the effects of an apparent deletion of language that makes a body subject, or how theses languages are interwoven in the structure of subjectivity. This is an issue that involves subject-language-speaking and is relevant both to reflect on language acquisition, second language teaching, education of the deaf
