The present work deals with affectivity in Family and Succession Law. Interdisciplinary reflections on the legal field, coming from Pedagogy, Psychology, History and Sociology, compose the intended contextualization about the institute. The historical and sociological identification of subjectivity in family entities allows an understanding of the existing intertwining between affectivity and the family law and succession environment. The position in national legislation and jurisprudence and compared to the realities of Spain and Argentina contributes to complete the perception of the scenario in which we live in times of affection as being, often, an apparent impression of real patrimonial interests always existing in interpersonal relationships. The uproar over the legal nature of affectivity is taken into account as a complement to its understanding. The intended objective is to compile varied knowledge about the subject, so that the reader can build a more complete and genuine concept, realizing the importance of questioning, and not just the repetition of concepts. For this, the method of the deductive approach is used, since the study is based on conceptions and general premises on the subject to reach rational conclusions. The main procedural methods are analysis and interpretation, through the handling of bibliographic and documental research techniques
