This paper addresses the changes arising from Law 13.467 / 2017 (Labor Reform) in relation to discrimination against women in the labor market and gender inequality. The methodology used consisted of descriptive bibliographic research, accompanied by the reading of judgments of the Supreme Courts, laws, articles and other information, providing a diversified and multidisciplinary view. As a result, it was noted that a lot of the current legislation is contradictory, to the detriment of the judiciary, which, when making decisions, will have trouble in designating a fair result, and loss for employees and employers for experiencing a situation of legal insecurity. In this context, gender inequality at work environment will face even more difficulties to achieve a significant decrease, which will necessarily require many and new debates
