Actuosa participatio: a liturgia renovada pelo Concílio Vaticano e sua aproximação com a Inteligência Senciente de Xavier Zubiri

The present paper aims first of all to analyse the development of the notion actuosa participatioin the Liturgical Movement as such and in the magisterial approach of the first half of the 20thcentury which followed and was influenced by it. Only after this, we will seek to define the main approaches to actuosa participatio in the context of Vatican II, in the promulgation of the Constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium, and thereby, to identify the new approach to liturgical participation that surrounds the notion of actuosa participatio within the Council. At this point, a pause will be made to identify the essential elements of Xavier Zubiri's sentient intelligence and his new proposal for an interpretation of understanding and feeling, in order to propose a correlation between the Zubirian categories and the Conciliar approach, justifying the new understanding of liturgical participation from the standpoint of the Spanish philosopher. Finally, will be considered some repercussions of the conciliar notion actuosa participatio in documents of Ecclesiam de Eucharistia, Sacramentum Caritatis. Querida Amazonia and Desiderio Desideravi
