Resumo: The present work aims to present and analyze the procedures for rectification of the Real Estate Registry existing in the legal system, including changes due to the new legislation. It is based on Federal Law 10.931 / 04 and Federal Law 6.015 / 74. Due to the relevance and importance, the principles governing the Real Estate Registry will be identified, covering their main characteristics. Also, considering these principles, the reasons that lead to the rectification, besides the georeferencing will be analyzed

Devido à relevância e importância, serão identificados os princípios que regem o Registro de Imóveis, transcorrendo sobre suas principais características.
