Resumo: This document aims to reflect about the role of the school director of the Political Project Pedagogical. Conceptualizes what is a pedagogical Project and its importance in the management of the school unit. It adresses the leadership profiles, giving priority to democratic management, business concepts applied to the education unit, the stages in the construction of the project and reports an elaboration experience. In this report, the challenges are considered, the results achieved and emphasizes the process as an important and decisive part f the process. I considers diferent profiles of the actors involved and their contributions to each stage of the process, including the competencies of each one. It adresses the collaborative work for the construction of agreements in the school unit, involving the actors of the educational community and reflecting on the formative intention of students so they can be able to intervene in the society that they are inserted.

Conceitua o que é Projeto Político Pedagógico e sua importância na gestão da unidade escolar. Aborda os perfis de liderança, privilegiando a gestão democrática, os conceitos de administração aplicados à unidade educativa, as etapas na construção do projeto e relata uma experiência de elaboração. Neste relato, são considerados os desafios, os resultados atingidos e enfatizando o processo como parte importante e determinante na construção. Considera diferentes perfis dos atores envolvidos e as suas contribuições para cada etapa do processo, compreendendo as competências de cada um.
