Poverty in Brazil is a matter of first class; the legacy of social injustice, raised during five centuries of history, has been still on. Currently, significative part of population still doesn’t have access at least dignity and citizenship. According to official information,16,2 millions of Brazilian citizens still live low than the poverty line. This report had as a target to contribute for the understanding of poverty question and social exclusion, showing a view of new business models that consider some special social historic facts as a way of generate value to companies and to poor citizens too. This way, the report intends to stimulate the raise of new business in this same direction. The research results show that there are business opportunities for companies that consider poor citizens as part of your value chain. However, these social benefits can’t be easily counted, which have bring companies to develop methodologies and social indicators that help to measure business impacts with social inclusion
