Precisa desenhar?: uma análise verbovisual dos infográficos na videoprova em Libras do ENEM 2019

Resumo: The main objective of this research was to investigate the verb-visuality of the ENEM 2019 printed test and video test, trying to detect their possible links. Thus, we also seek to understand the socio-historical path of the ENEM exam and video test, as well as analyze the printed test in Portuguese and the video test in Libras in order to discuss the translation of educational assessment exams and contribute with reflections for the area of the translation in Libras. To achieve this goal, we established the following research question: “How do the verbal-visual aspects of the printed proof appear (or not) in the translation of the video proof in Libras? In order to carry it out, we used an investigative approach, we used Bakhtinian concepts and perspective, directly aimed at verb-visuality, considering the text in Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), in its verb-gesture, spatial, and text written in Portuguese language. As a result, we can say that the video tests taught us a lot about ENEM and the richness of the tests in two modality languages, with different materiality. After some attempts to carry out a contrastive analysis, it becomes evident that in sign language we have the presence of a body. Another contribution has to do with research on verbal-visuality, infographics and scientific dissemination. Scientific popularization texts and texts in the field of advertising have already contributed for a while with the so-called “graphic arguments” to express knowledge in the media. We can dare to say that at times our research has shown that the translators were computer graphics to some degree

Assim, buscamos também compreender o percurso sócio-histórico do exame e das videoprova do ENEM, bem como analisar a prova impressa em português e a videoprova em Libras a fim de discutir sobre a tradução de exames de avaliação educacional e contribuir com reflexões para a área da tradução em Libras. Para atingir esse objetivo, estabelecemos a seguinte pergunta de pesquisa: “Como os aspectos verbo-visuais da prova impressa aparecem (ou não) na tradução da videoprova em Libras? Para realizá-la nos valemos de uma abordagem de caráter investigativo nos valemos dos conceitos e perspectiva bakhtiniana, diretamente direcionados para a verbo-visualidade, considerando o texto em libras (língua de sinais brasileira), em sua modalidade verbo-gestual, espacial, e texto escrito em língua portuguesa. Como resultados podemos dizer que as videoprovas nos ensinou muito sobre o ENEM e a riqueza das provas em duas línguas de modalidade, de materialidade diferentes. Após algumas tentativas de realizar uma análise contrastiva, fica evidente que em língua de sinais temos a presença de um corpo. Outra contribuição tem a ver com as pesquisas sobre verbo-visualidade, os infográficos e a divulgação científica. Os textos de divulgação científica e os textos do campo da publicidade contribuem já há algum tempo com as chamadas “argumentações gráficas” de forma a expressarem conhecimentos nos meios midiáticos.
