For thousands of years humanity has created religions, forms Churches, communities and, in them, there are people who dedicate themselves to the study of the relations between God and men, as well as to the various functions and works necessary for evangelization. And it is about them that we will refer to in this study, with the aim of showing how much their active presence tends to be increasingly necessary. Not only within the Churches, but in other environments, as it enables dialogue with other areas of knowledge generating gains for both sides. We mention the importance of good formation for all lay people, something of extreme relevance to a well-founded apostolate in Tradition, the Magisterium and Sacred Scripture, while paying special attention to the academic formation of lay people who so wish. We have gone through part of the history of the Early Church, in order to make it evident that the laity and lay people have long ceased to be those and those who know little and have entered the paths of theological knowledge, expanding the possibilities of acting in the ecclesiological environment and outside it as well. We conclude by mentioning the presence of Mary, the first laywoman, to say that as she we can all bear witness to faith and missionary zeal, to express mutual love with us among the One who loved us first and ourselves. An unreserved love, which draws strongly to service to the Church, the mystical body of Christ, so that the kingdom of God may come true
