Resumo: This study aimed to analyze the scientific productions on the impact of home care to the frail elderly in the quality of life of informal caregivers. To this developed an integrative review of literature from the search in the databases of the LILACS, CINAHL, MEDLINE. Were listed two categories: instruments of evaluation of quality of life and well-being of the caregiver and health care Implications of the caregiver.Keywords: Family Caregiver; Elderly; Quality of life.

Se desarrolló una revisión bibliográfica integradora basada en la búsqueda en las bases de datos LILACS, CINAHL y MEDLINE. Se enumeraron dos categorías: instrumentos para evaluar la calidad de vida y el bienestar del cuidador y las repercusiones de la atención médica del cuidador.Objetivou-se analisar produções científicas sobre repercussões do cuidado ao idoso frágil na qualidade de vida de cuidadores informais. Desenvolveu-se uma revisão integrativa da literatura, a partir da busca nas bases de dados LILACS, CINAHL e MEDLINE.
