Resumo: This study addressed the importance of the valorization of the elderly in the labor market through the analysis of the film "An Internship" and a field research. The reflection on the film served as the basis for the formulation of a questionnaire. Thus, the development of the work showed that the presence of the elderly in the labor market is extremely important since, with the increase in the life expectancy, and consequently the population increase, there are five different generations coexisting in the labor market.Keywords: Movie; Job market; Elderly.

La reflexión sobre la película sirvió de base para la formulación de un cuestionario. Así, el desarrollo del trabajo mostró que la presencia de los ancianos en el mercado de trabajo es extremadamente importante, ya que, con el aumento de la expectativa de vida, y consecuentemente el aumento de la población, hay cinco generaciones diferentes coexistiendo en el mercado de trabajo.Este estudo abordou a importância da valorização do idoso no mercado de trabalho por meio da análise do filme “Um Senhor Estagiário” e uma pesquisa de campo. A reflexão sobre o filme serviu de base para a formulação de um questionário.
