Resumo: The increase in life expectancy during the twentieth century, the improved quality of life and access to paid retirement creates a growing need for retirement activities. This paper presents a leisure and learning workshop aimed at older people. The transition from worker to retiree is one of the most important changes taking place in late adulthood and in the course of life. The overall objective of the workshop is to promote positive attitudes and personal development activities for the use of free time, social interactions and continuous, active and participatory learning. The World Health Organization principles on "active aging" and the theoretical sources, such as Psychology of Leisure and free time and Positive Psychology, are the grounds for this workshop. Thus, interesting challenges arise because people must learn, among other things, to successfully and significantly occupy their new free time. In this sense, leisure and learning allow us to think alternatives to actively develop these environments at this stage of life.

In this sense, leisure and learning allow us to think alternatives to actively develop these environments at this stage of life.El aumento de la expectativa de vida durante el siglo XX y la mejoría en su calidad, así como el acceso a la jubilación remunerada genera una creciente necesidad de actividades para jubilados. El presente trabajo presenta la propuesta de un taller de ocio y aprendizaje dirigido a personas mayores. La transición de trabajador a jubilado es uno de los cambios más importantes que tiene lugar en la adultez tardía y en el curso de la vida. El objetivo general del taller es promover actitudes y actividades positivas para el desarrollo personal del uso del tiempo libre, las interacciones sociales y el aprendizaje continuo, activo y participativo. Entre los fundamentos de la actividad están los postulados la Organización Mundial de la Salud acerca de la idea del “envejecimiento activo”; y entre otras fuentes teóricas la Psicología del ocio y tiempo libre y la Psicología positiva. De esta manera, se plantean desafíos interesantes ya que las personas deben aprender, entre otras cosas, a ocupar de manera satisfactoria y significativa el nuevo tiempo libre del cual disponen. En este sentido, el ocio y el aprendizaje nos permiten pensar alternativas posibles para poder desarrollar activamente esos espacios en esta etapa de la vida.O aumento da expectativa de vida durante o século XX, a melhoria da qualidade de vida e o acesso à aposentadoria remunerada cria uma necessidade crescente de atividades de aposentadoria. Este artigo apresenta uma oficina de lazer e aprendizagem destinado a pessoas mais velhas. A transição do trabalhador aposentado é uma das mudanças mais importantes que ocorrem na idade adulta tardia e no curso da vida. O objetivo geral da oficina é promover atitudes positivas e atividades de desenvolvimento pessoal para o uso do tempo livre, interações sociais e aprendizagem contínua, ativa e participativa. Os princípios da Organização Mundial de Saúde sobre "Envelhecimento Ativo" e as fontes teóricas, tais como Psicologia da Lazer e tempo livre e Psicologia Positiva, são os motivos para esta oficina. Assim, desafios interessantes surgem porque as pessoas precisam aprender, entre outras coisas, com sucesso, e de forma significativa, a ocupar seu novo tempo livre.
