Revista Feminina (1914-1930) in perspective: the use of the press and archives to think about women’s history

Resumo: This paper aims to investigate how the editions of Revista Feminina contributed to the identification of the representation of women in the press. To this end, we resorted to the theoretical references of thinkers who discuss the gender issue, in dialogue with Arlette Farge (2009) and Jacques Derrida (2001) to contribute with the debates on historical sources via archive. Considering the relevance of women’s history, we conducted a documentary analysis on the editions of the magazine. Keywords: women’s press; women’s history; archive.

Para ello, recurrimos a las referencias teóricas de pensadores que discuten la cuestión de género, en diálogo con Arlette Farge (2009) y Jacques Derrida (2001) para contribuir con los debates sobre fuentes históricas vía archivo. Considerando la relevancia de la historia de las mujeres, realizamos un análisis documental sobre las ediciones de la revista.
