Nuances of biographical elements in studies in history and history of education: a synthesis from the state of knowledge

Resumo: This paper discusses what is usually called 'state of the art' and problematizes academic studies focusing on biographies. It analyzes a synthesis of this production, which covers investigations published between the years of 1999 and 2016, with different forms of theoretical and methodological approaches concerning the term biography in academic research in the areas of History and History of Education. Publications from three of each one of the research areas presented in ANPUH events were prioritized. The study points theoretical tensions and problems related to the biographical genre, as well as some possibilities concerning the expansion of such research works in the scope of History of Education.

Se priorizaron publicaciones de tres periodos de cada una de las áreas y estudios presentados en eventos de la ANPUH. El texto apunta tensiones teóricas y problematizaciones relacionadas a ese género, así como algunas posibilidades para la ampliación de tales investigaciones en el ámbito de la historia de la educación.O artigo discute o 'estado do conhecimento' realizado para um estudo relacionado ao personagem Felipe Tiago Gomes e problematiza estudos que têm a biografia como mote.  Analisa uma síntese da produção, que compreende investigações divulgadas entre os anos de 1999 e 2016, com enfoque teórico e metodológico centrado nas diferentes formas que o termo biografia assume em pesquisas em história ehistória da educação. Priorizaram-se publicações de três periódicos de cada uma das áreas e estudosapresentados em eventos da ANPUH.
