Beginning of early childhood educational care in Spain

Resumo: The object of study of this work are the first nursery schools in the city of Cádiz, their moment of implantation, the number of centers that were opened, conditions of the buildings that host them and circumstances in which the teaching staff developed their work. I attended to them. In this sense, an attempt has been made to unravel historical events from a social perspective that explains not only their creation but also frames it in the context that motivated them. The method used was the historiography, understood as a scientific procedure in the social sciences by which the past is interpreted beyond the subjectivity of the researcher, the one usually used in historical-educational research.

En este sentido se ha intentado desentrañar los hechos históricos desde una perspectiva social que explique no solamente la creación de estas escuelas, sino que lo encuadre en el contexto que las motivó. El método utilizado ha sido el historiográfico, entendido como procedimiento científico en las ciencias sociales por el que se interpreta el pasado más allá de la subjetividad del investigador, el habitualmente utilizado en la investigación histórico-educativa.O objeto de estudo deste trabalho são as primeiras creches da cidade de Cádiz, o seu momento de implantação, o número de centros que foram abertos, as condições dos edifícios que os acolhem e as circunstâncias em que o corpo docente desenvolveu o seu trabalho. Nesse sentido, buscou-se desvendar os acontecimentos históricos a partir de uma perspectiva social que explique não apenas sua criação, mas também a enquadre no contexto que os motivou.
