It will be stated how a practical dictionary should look like as well as the criteria that are important for the establishment of such a dictionary. Furthermore will be given an overview of the potential problems in relation of the dictionary´s establishment; moreover the description of the processing of data to come upon the technical terms that will be represented in the dictionary will be presented. Concluding a scheme for a specialized, bilingual dictionary of the medical area of dermatology in the German and Portuguese language was presented that not only provides information on grammar and syntax.
