Resumo: This investigation assumes as the main focus of analysis the educational cactivities urrently developed in the ‘Innovative Educational Environments’ (IEE), also known as ‘Future Classrooms’ (FC) created in elementary and secondary schools. The final project seeks to produce knowledge about these spaces characteristics, their underlying projects and pedagogical practices, in order to verify the main differences between the educational activities that take place in these spaces with the ones established in ‘Regular Classrooms’ (RC). Following a mixed methodological approach, structured under the pragmatic paradigm, data were collected through: (i) application of an online survey, to characterize and select the existing IEE, and ii) video recording of the classes that took place in the selected spaces (IEE and RC of three public elementary and secondary schools). Three teachers and 53 students participated in the six video recordings of the classes carried out in both types of spaces. The instrument selected for data analysis was the ‘Linking Pedagogy, Technology and Space observational metric’, with the first analysis focusing specifically on the domain ‘Pedagogies’. Part of the results obtained showed the influence of the space in the adoption of diversified pedagogical dynamics, with the adoption of more traditional instructional teacher-centered methodologies in RC, and more interactive approaches being adopted in the IEE based on discussion activities between students, as well as activities related to facilitation of the learning process and feedback.

The final project seeks to produce knowledge about these spaces characteristics, their underlying projects and pedagogical practices, in order to verify the main differences between the educational activities that take place in these spaces with the ones established in ‘Regular Classrooms’ (RC).
