Resumo: | This report was elaborated, in the first person, following the school placement- curricular unit inserted in the 2nd year of the 2nd Cycle in Teaching of Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. The purpose of this work is to report and reflect on the experiences resulting from the professional practice held during the academic year of 2017/2018 at a secondary school, in Vila Nova de Gaia. The document is divided in the following five chapters: 1) Introduction: the framework of the professional practice; 2) Personal Dimension: the path towards becoming a teacher and expectations regarding the professional practice; 3) Teaching practice framework: including the institutional framework, in which the cooperating school, the practicum group, and the resident students' class are presented; 4) Accomplishment of the professional practice, divided into three broad areas, covering the entire reflective process of teaching-learning throughout the academic year, as well as the participation in school dynamics and relationship with the community, including participation in the school activities, and the professional development, namely the reflection on Active School, referring to the proposal of applying the concept of active school in the cooperating school; 5) Conclusion and perspectives for the future, based on a personal reflection about the year of this professional practice and my expectations for the future. Overall, I am very satisfied with the accomplishment of my professional practice and the opportunity it enabled me to use the acquired knowledge in a real context. Therefore, this experience was an opportunity to develop my academic, professional and, above all, my personal skills, always keeping in mind the importance of providing students experiences and knowledge I've learned while a student of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. |
