Possibility of rapprochement between CTSA Education and Critical Environmental Education: an analysis in the ENPEC minutes in the period 2011-2019

Resumo: Science, Technology, Society and Environment Education (CTSA) needs to be correlated with Critical Environmental Education (EAC), in an integrative perspective, aiming at forming critical and active individuals in society. With that in mind, the present study aimed to analyze the works published in the minutes of the National Meeting of Research in Science Education (ENPEC), in the period 2011-2019 on CTSA and verify the possibilities of approximations with the EAC, contributing to the field of research and expanding discussions on Science, Technology, Society and Environment. As a methodology for this study, it was decided to carry out a “state of the art” research, mapping works that present in the title and/or keywords the terms “CTSA” and/or “Science, Technology, Society and Environment”. As a form of analysis, Discursive Textual Analysis was used, with the creation of some descriptors, as well as a critical discussion of the researches mapped. As a result, it was possible to perceive that only 10 works present possibilities of approximations between CTSA and EAC, requiring further studies in the area.

Con eso en mente, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar los trabajos publicados en las actas de la Reunión Nacional de Investigación en Educación en Ciencias (ENPEC), en el período 2011-2019 en CTSA y verificar las posibilidades de aproximaciones con la EAC, contribuyendo a el campo de la investigación y la ampliación de las discusiones sobre Ciencia, Tecnología, Sociedad y Medio Ambiente. Como metodología para este estudio se optó por realizar uma investigación de “estado del arte”, mapeando obras que presenten en el título y/o palabras claves los términos “CTSA” y/o “Ciencia, Tecnología, Sociedad y Medio Ambiente”. Como forma de análisis, se utilizó el Análisis Textual Discursivo, con la creación de algunos descriptores, así como una discusión crítica de las investigaciones mapeadas. Como resultado, fue posible percibir que solo 10 trabajos presentan posibilidades de aproximaciones entre CTSA y EAC, requiriendo mayores estudios en el área.A Educação Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente (CTSA) faz-se necessário correlacionar-se com a Educação Ambiental Crítica (EAC), numa perspectiva integradora, visando formar indivíduos críticos e atuantes na sociedade. Pensando nisso, o presente estudo objetivou analisar os trabalhos publicados nas atas do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC), no período 2011-2019 sobre CTSA e verificar as possibilidades de aproximações com a EAC, contribuindo com o campo da pesquisa e ampliando as discussões sobre a Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente. Como metodologia para este estudo, optou-se em realizar uma pesquisa do tipo “estado da arte”, mapeando trabalhos que apresentam no título e/ou palavras-chave os termos “CTSA” e/ou “Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente”. Como forma de análise utilizou-se a Análise Textual Discursiva, com a criação de alguns descritores, bem como se realizou-se uma discussão crítica das pesquisas mapeadas.
