Resumo: A reflection on several challenges faced by education today, involving the search for meaning in the adventure of being human, the definition of the fundamental learning of the human being, a learning of the meaning of life, and the emergence of the utopian Learning Society. The author concludes expressing his hope that the Learning Society will result in the awakening of a New Humanism.
