Resumo: Internationalization is a strategic challenge for small companies. This paper aims to provide an analytic procedure for the Portuguese luxury real estate agency of PS by defining the target market for expansion, an appropriate market entry mode, and an applicable marketing plan along a financial forecast. Literature was reviewed to define international market selection and its application. An in-depth analysis of Canada revealed that while it provides highly favorable market conditions in terms of market potential, differentiation, and macro-economic environment, different treatment of foreigners regarding taxation and revenues overcomes the favorable conditions and makes Canada un attractive to expand to.
