Resumo: The attitudes of pedagogy students in training about environmental problems, their relationship with science and technology (S&T) and the future of our planet were investigated. Attitudes have a close and undeniable relationship with the teaching-learning process, which is why they underlie the moment of making a decision or trying to solve a problem. To investigate the attitudes, the scale "Me and Environmental challenges" of the ROSES questionnaire, consisting of 13 short items, was used. The information emanating from ROSES was complemented with an interview. Most of the students show favourable environmental attitudes, however some lack of knowledge was detected, such as the origin of environmental problems and their relations with S&T; this can hinder the development of actions favourable to the environment.

Las actitudes tienen una estrecha e innegable relación con el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, por lo que subyacen al momento de tomar una decisión o al tratar de resolver un problema. Para indagar las actitudes se utilizó la escala “Los desafíos ambientales y yo” del cuestionario ROSES que consta de 13 reactivos breves. La información emanada del ROSES fue complementada con una entrevista. En su mayoría las jóvenes manifiestan actitudes ambientales favorables, empero se detectaron deficiencias en ciertos conocimientos como el origen de los problemas ambientales y sus relaciones con la CyT; esto puede dificultar el desarrollo de acciones favorables hacia el ambiente.Foram investigadas as atitudes de estudantes de pedagogia na formação sobre os problemas ambientais, sua relação com a ciência e tecnologia (C&T) e o futuro do nosso planeta. As atitudes têm uma relação estreita e inegável com o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, razão pela qual estão subjacentes ao momento de tomar uma decisão ou tentar resolver um problema. Para investigar as atitudes, foi utilizada a escala “Desafios ambientais e eu” do questionário ROSES, composto por 13 itens curtos. A informação proveniente do ROSES foi complementada com uma entrevista.
